we will be right back after this short commercial break.

                                                                          (latest anoh?)

sa muling pagpapatuloy(take two)...

6. (Reserved for your suggestions)

Daylight Delight

Summer was about to end, kids will be busy again, that’s why we have decided to have a break from work—oops I’m not included, I’m a fulltime TAMBAY after all. I can’t remember what day and date it was, all I know is we went to beach.

Our departure time was 5:30AM and because we are Filipinos, we’ve took off an hour after the set departure time. We are going to General Santos City, 50+ kilometers from where we are. We rented a multicab, just enough for 3 small families, our family and my two titas’s families, but some family members are not included..
There are two towns or municipalities that we will be passing by, before we reach General Santos City. The first is the municipality of Tupi, when we got there the multicab where we are in, got a flat tire, but fortunately the driver had a spare tire, that’s why it wasn’t really counted as a delay. We had a picture taking while we are waiting for the driver to replace the flatted tire, and other guys helped him to make thing easy and fast, maybe in less than 15mins it was fixed, and our travel continues.

The next stop was at the Municipality of Polomolok, we have to pick up one of my tita there, and while waiting for her to arrived, we did not waste time and we bought fishes to be grilled on their market, where fishes are cheap and fresh, after my tita arrived, we resume our travel, our next stop was in cemetery, cemetery? Yes! Cemetery. We’ve visited my late grandfather, we just offered a little prayer, and asked him after if he would like to join our outing, --good thing is he didn’t answered back and maybe ask us if we would like to join him –hehe. Well, in our time we will.

Ok our travel continues, we arrived at our destination around 8:30-9:00am, we ate our breakfast first before we enjoy the sand, sun and the salt water. Everyone was enjoying, even not everyone knows how to swim, so some were left near the seashore, where water is not deep and they feel safe.
It’s admirable to watch my grandmother swimming , yeah she can still swim, even if she can’t walk fast, but then she can swim swiftly, she’s already 89 years old and despite of her age, she’s still capable of doing those things that she used to do when she was still young.

As the heat gets hotter, we shed our selves under the roof of our rented cottage, we are all afraid to toast our skin, some of us doubting the effectiveness of their applied sun block, so we took a rest while treating our stomach, I’ve exposed also my fattened tummy, who cares! everyone in the group has a tummy same to mine(if not healthier)—haha.

After we had our lunch, we forgot about the sun and the sunburn , we enjoyed the water again and its flashing waves. That was our last soak, we’ve gone off after.

May 21, 2011-judgment day

Judgment day, that means the world is about to end(not its literal meaning), I was a little surprised when I heard the news about this prediction, though I’m already used to it, because rumors like this always pop outs out of nowhere since long ago. Many groups and sometimes just individuals, always creates buzz regarding this serious matter, as a result others gone panic, and others just laugh over that issue, some were afraid and some are just calm and prepared for whatever is about to happen.  This time the source of this recent end of the world prediction, is a group from US, I’m a little curious on what kind of group are they, and what is their basis of this scary news. I’ve heard the interview on the leader or perhaps he was just the spokesperson(I’m not sure), he said that there’s nothing they will gain from spreading this Prediction—they’ve gain popularity. and as a matter of fact they’ve already sold their material things, and he also said that what they are saying is the world is about to end, they didn’t said that humans will die—what??? Haha I wonder how can we live without this world of ours, will we be transported to other planet(meet kokey)? To other dimension? Purgatory, Hell or heaven depending on how we lived our life? It sounds comical to me, and many doesn’t believe on this rumor, but I’m also surprised that according to the text poll survey that TV patrol World conducted, last night(as of this writing), there are 16% of the participant of this said survey believed that this May 21, 2011, 6:00pm Judgement Day is true, they really believed that this world of ours will end today perhaps later(as of this writing).  On the other hand, many religious sectors said that: “Only God Knows if when this world will end, or when will be the judgement day” however they are clearly saying that this May 21, 2011, 6:00pm Judgement Day prediction is not true—are they God? It sounds to me that they are certainly sure that this prediction is not true—does it mean they know when? Yet they are saying that only God knows, where’s the harmony on their statements? Well whatever will happen will happen, preparedness is necessarily needed, do what you have to do while you can. Ooopsss others might think that they should now do what are those things that is evil or prohibited by laws since the world is about to end, and we will all be gone, so let’s enjoy the remaining moments we have on this world, --I’m in total agreement with that, but I’ll prefer to do the opposite, do good, live your life righteously while you can, repent, forgive, love and be happy –weh di nga?

Haha kakagraduate ko lang tapos end of the world na? ohhh kamon! I have 77years more to live –according to my prediction, lol.

To all my friends and love once, twice… and thrice. –I LOVE YOU ALL
To all of you(including my friends and love once) –Hello! How are you?

Come what may come what may come.

My Playful Mp3 Player

Play… pause… Play… pause… Play… Ooops! –that’s not how I play my Mp3 player, and that’s not how my MP3 player play my favorite mp3s. it play my favorite mp3s the way it should be, play the song when I press the Play button, pause when I push the pause button and shut off when I turned it off. That’s my Sony Mp3 player.

It was again just given to me, gift or present in other word. It works just fine, not until I’ve observed that it’s now showing some abnormality, I’ve observed that when playing a music or any audio files like audiobooks and other audios in mp3 format, it’s louder when I’m touching the audio jack—hehe I’m not sure if it’s the right term, I’m referring to the end portion of the headphone, the thing you plug in you mp3 player’s output port. When I’m touching that or perhaps holding while I’m playing music, the volume boosts louder than it used to be, and after a week I suddenly can’t hear any sound from the headphone even if the music was already playing, at first I thought that the problem was on my headphone, so I used and tried other headphone that surely not defective, and the result was still the same. So, it was clear now that the problem was on the mp3 player itself.

Due to boredom and a little curiosity, I did not wait for second opinion from a known expert, I’ve check out the mp3 player by opening those portion that can be opened by using just my bare hands, and I found out that a screwdriver with a small tip was necessary, fortunately I have something like that somewhere on our cabinet, it took me more that 10minutes and I found it. It’s dissecting time!

So I drove the screws out or perhaps the bolts? –hehe, and carefully checked out the wirings, the LCD display, the small chips with, the chip with capacitors , insulators, and conductor? –haha I’m not sure if those were those, and if those were present there, it’s just seems to me that it looks like those.

After a few minutes of careful analysis or perhaps observation of what might be the problem is, I’ve seen that somewhere near the port where earphone is plug, there was a broken solded lead, and my intuition told me that it was the problem, and fortunately I have a soldering iron, I bought it when I was in high school, for what purpose? Uhmm I just want it, it looks cool –hehe. But unluckily I don’t have a soldering lead and honestly I don’t know how to use it –haha. So I just took my mp3 player to cellphone repair shop, I asked the technician if he could fix it, I told him the problem, and he started to open my mp3 player and in not more than 10minutes it was fixed. I only paid 20 pesos for that.

Bandage for my Aged Cellphone

Bandage for my aged cellphone –maybe this title will suggest to your imagination that you should be seeing inside your head an old cellphone wrapped with scotch tape, masking tape, or worst electrical tape.
Well, that’s not the case, and I’m not going to mummify it to preserve its physical form either. What I’m about to do or perhaps what I did was, I just covered it’s wound, wound? Hehe ok here’s the story, my cellphone is a Nokia 3110c, an old model and an old one, it was just a gift to me from my sister, and it’s 3 or 4years old now—oops does it confused you? I’m referring on my cellphone.

Just recently(as of this writing), due to old age(not my negligence) my cellphone’s usb connector cover, was removed, it just suddenly fell down(fell up?)—haha.  It wasn’t really a surprise, I was really expecting this phone to show me some signs of aging, and as a matter of fact, it already does, as you can see on the picture, the characters on it’s keypad was already erased, but it’s my doings because some characters were peeled off already, that’s why I’ve erased them all to make it look even.

There was also more that 4000sms on my sent items, which I can’t erase because it was hidden and the bad news was, it consumes my phone’s internal memory free disk space, that’s why now I can’t same more than 100sms on my inbox, I have to mass delete sms more frequently—how troublesome!
And now its new deficiency is this lacking of usb connector cover, what’s the big deal with this? Well, yes I can still send sms without that cover, but what I’m worried about was when small particles or objects(bacteria?)—haha, will plug-in on my usb connector’s port, the result is it will be damaged, and won’t anymore be able to use it when connecting my phone to pc for transferring of files.

Thanks God, that these thick rubber bands were made, I’ve got an idea why not use it to covers my phone’s usb connector’s port, and it will serve as a decoration as well. It does perfectly fit on my phone, I’ve used to use it that way before, but I’ve removed it because it’s hard to answer someone’s call or to talk to someone over the phone, nhy? Because this thick rubber band if used that way, will cover the phone’s voice or sound  receiver—haha not sure with this term, it’s located near the usb connector’s port,  I have to remove the rubber band first before I can talk, and it’s not easy since it’s tight, otherwise you won’t be heard on the another end..

So, that’s it! I’ve used it again, it looks nice somehow and more importantly it covers the open wound of my aged cellular phone.

Finding Ningmu(muning)

1,2,3 ,!@#$%^&* …

Itutulog… (Itutuloy sa panaginip)…

Sacrificial Pages

At the age of 7, I learned how to play chess, My late father taught me how, but never told me why. Why should I play this game? Maybe for fun or leisure and bonding, For killing time, To keep me away from vices, and to improve my thinking skill(which I’m not good at it until now haha), those were all good reasons why I should learn to play this game, it’s a sport after all.

It’s not all there is to it, I have learned on chess game that to win the game, sometimes I must make some sacrifice, it’s true even in real life. Sometimes we can’t have something we wanted without giving something in return, we pay the price, that is.

Now I was called by myself for sacrifice, it’s been already 6yrs since I graduated in highschool. Luckily, I found my long lost classmates and friends together with their signature faces on facebook. One of them added me to be on her friends list and the others as well, I did the same to some who’s still not on my friends list.

After the hi’s/hello’s, “how are you?”, “how do you do?” etc… they have decided that we’ll be going to have our class reunion by December—when holiday is everyday(not literally).

The SMS’s keeps on flying back and forth, there were no central place for inquirers and inquiries, for questions and answers, for the organizers and participants. I decided to volunteer myself on building a website for our 4thyr class section, so that all informations that is necessary for everyone will be posted there, and that’s when my sacrifice started, aside from the time and effort, I have torn some pages on my yearbook because my scanner can’t scan it clearly without having it detached. I’ll be using those images for our website, but it’s alright it was just torn, not burned so I can still see their/our faces, our nostalgic faces.

I won… somehow.

Last September 10, 2010, I submitted my entry on a blog writing contest where I joined, that was my first time to join on a writing contest. I’m not a writer, perhaps not a good writer, but still my guts pushed my enthusiasm to give it a try.

I wasn’t confident that my entry will win any price, it simply because I’m not competent on this field, but still I was able to wrote my entry. I don’t really care if I win or not, I was just looking for a topic to write about for my new blog.
The Day of Judgment has come, I was informed by one of the organizers that my entry had won a prize a major prize. I was surprised, and I wonder which prize I won, is it the 1st? the 2nd? Or the 3rd ?. I quickly click the link that was sent to me on facebook to see the full detail about the winners.

The name of the first places wasn’t mine, and the next winner is not me, that leaves me on the third. I’m the third prize winner, where’s the proof? Here’s the link http://magazine.southcotabato.org/2010/10/winners-of-south-cotabato-experience.html  you might also want to check out my poorly but lucky written entry

South Cotabato Experience

Being born and becoming an inhabitant on this province of South Cotabato is such a good luck and fortune, If you are born here too then you shouldn’t be asking why, but if not then I guess I have to give you an idea on why I think and I thought I’m lucky and fortunate to be born on this beautiful province of South Cotabato. there are numbers of reasons that I can enumerate to you why I feel lucky being a South Cotabateneo. The first is that Province of South Cotabato is rich on natural resources of  its different towns. For us exporting products or goods from other provinces is not an option, we have enough here and in fact we are capable of exporting as well, just like other provinces. For example the pineapples of Polomolok are also served on Uncle Sam’s breakfast, not only to Juan Dela Cruz, and not only town of Polomolok, other towns of South Cotabato also has their respective products which serve as their trademark. Town of Banga is known because for their corn, also Lake Sebu is famous for its Tilapia and beautiful lake resorts. This province of South Cotabato is not only proud of its natural resources, also of its people, South Cotabato is a province of peace loving and talented people, the T’nalak woven by the native of T’boli is already known worldwide, and its one of the province pride, maybe that is why our festival was named: ‘t’nalak festival’ –and you should visit us during our celebration of t’nalak festival to witness the rich and colorful culture of South Cotabateneos.

Even if I was born here and a permanent resident of South Cotabato, there are still places here that I haven’t visited yet(not until I went there) haha. And one of those is Lake Sebu, I got curious about this place when I heard a lot of good things about it from my friends, classmates, and other people. They said it was a nice there, and they really had a great time, the place was so peaceful and relaxing and they’ll definitely come back there. Their said experiences at Lake Sebu becomes my first impression of that place, a first impression that certainly last until now, I have already been there many times, not just more than twice of one hehehe and that is when my impressions becomes reality, it was a paradise before my eyes, you’ll forget your worries and tensions, its really a good place to relax and unwind which I think is necessary for busy persons like… …you? Maybe, hehehe I’m not a busy person, not at all. But still I love the place and I will loved to be misplaced there hahaha missing? Or lost? –haha just dreaming for adventure.

The climate was very cold or rather the weather, but whether the climate or the weather, the point is its cold, very cold, especially when the sun is not present, you better take your blanket or jacket or igloo hahaha with you.

I wonder if Manny Pacquiao could do his training here instead of in baguio and when he refused, then we could invite Antonio Margarito hahahaha he might forget his fight to Manny Paquiao, leave his boxing career and choose to spend his whole life at Lake Sebu, and maybe raise some Tilapia hahahaha I can’t wait to see a punching Tilapia or maybe a punched Tilapia haha how cruel! –too much for the nonsense.

Haha I’ll be giving you 10 reasons why everyone should have their own South Cotabato experience(s) just see the ff:

This is actually my entry for this said contest, hehe my poorly written entry, but still I’m hoping to win the consolation prize… if not the Grand prize. hehehehe but I’ll be more happy if it’s the Grand prize hahaha and if you are also interested to join then check out the mechanics for The 1st SCT Blog-Writing Contest. Good luck… to myself and to you also.
